The Tandberg StorageLibrary T24 (LTO) simply scales "on demand" from a 1x12 autoloader to a 2x24 library, with a choice of one or two 50 percent-large LTO-2 drives or a one entire-height LTO-three drive making it the industry's first accurate LTO entry-degree SMB/departmental tape library. It redefines simplicity by providing digital plug-and-perform tape backup and unsurpassed Capability on Demand by shifting drive configuration or including a second cartridge magazine all with business-top normal features and affordability. The Tandberg StorageLibrary T24 is configured with one LTO-2 drive and can be upgraded to maintain a second LTO-2 drive to double its pace and provide drive redundancy. Adding the second LTO tape drive can be concluded although the library is even now in its rack. Upgrading from an LTO-2 drive to an LTO-three SCSI or native Fiber Channel drive doubles drive doubles potential and far more than triples the LTO-2 drive pace.
